Membership in Northeast Harris County ARES

To become a member of NEHC ARES you must have a valid amateur radio license and have a sincere desire to serve communications duty in the public service.

NEHC is a unit of Harris County ARES. Amateur radio operators must join Harris County ARES to become a member of the NEHC unit. More information and the new member registration application can be found at http://harriscountyares.org/join.htm.

While not required, additional training is recommended. Many of the courses are offered FREE and are available online. Frequent practice is encouraged. Check in to one or more of the many different nets.
