Lights Over Phoenix 1997 Hoax

The Phoenix Lights also called Lights Over Phoenix were a series of UFOs widely reported over Arizona, Nevada and, the Mexican state of Sonora on March 13, 1997.

The Barry M. Goldwater Complex is a vast training range for U.S. and allied pilots. The range consists of 1.9 million acres of relatively undisturbed Sonoran Desert southwest of Luke Air Force Base between Yuma and Tucson south of Interstate 8.  Flares from the Complex were the cover story. The base is directly behind these lights, and the lights can be seen going down in sequence behind South Mountain Phoenix Arizona

There was also a huge UFO-themed concert at Wild Horse Pass casino directly under these flares at this same time.

The Face on Mars 1998

The Face on Mars is located at 41 degrees north Martian latitude where it was winter in April '98 -- a cloudy time of year on the Red Planet. The camera onboard MGS had to peer through wispy clouds to see the Face. Perhaps, said skeptics, alien markings were hidden by haze. 

Paranormal investigators believe there was a city on mars at one time an extension of the earth, similar to the lost city of Atlantis on Earth.

Paranormal Historians believe civilizations have perished thousands of times over millions of years, making it possible that artifacts from previous civilizations may exist but restricted technology is limited to government labs and military projects.

Loch Ness Monster (ongoing)

The Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie, is a creature in Scottish folklore that is said to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is often described as large, long-necked, and with one or more humps protruding from the water. 

No longer folklore the Loch Ness monster "Nessie" exists.

Foo Fighters 1944

The term "foo fighter" was used by Allied aircraft pilots during WWII to describe various UFOs or mysterious aerial phenomena seen in the skies over both the European and Pacific theaters of operations.

Though foo fighter described a type of UFO reported and named by the U.S. 415th Night Fighter Squadron, the term was also used to mean any UFO sighting from that period. Formally reported from November 1944 onwards, foo fighters were presumed by witnesses to be secret weapons employed by the enemy.

Roswell Crash 1947

The Roswell incident of 1947. Dummies were placed in bags by Roswell Army Air Field and debris from a crashed balloon was reportedly removed.

The cylinder in tow can be seen in movies like Merils Marauders with Jeff Chandler delivering food supplies to troops. In the Roswell case, it may have been used to transport whatever was found at the crash site back to the base months later. (the trees represent winter) the crash happened on July 7th, 1947 

Some Ufologists believe a flying disc was brought down by atomic testing in the area and beings and that craft was recovered and taken to Area 51.

The History Channel Project Blue Book suggests this was a Russian hoax to destabilize America with Disclosure of an alien crash site
