Conversations with Economists

I represent the Department of Economics in the University of Windsor Science Academy Program (2022, 2024), a free outreach program for grade 11 students designed to engage them in scientific activities at the University of Windsor. Students from the region are selected to attend the Faculty of Science at the University of Windsor over a one week period and participate in lectures, hands-on laboratory exercises and research lab tours within each department in the Faculty of Science. This program provides opportunities for local students to explore the various science programs offered at the University of Windsor, meet faculty and staff, and engage with other science students.

The A to Z of Economics

I am designing a course that offers a comprehensive introduction to key economic concepts, tailored to undergraduate students of all programs (except Economics and Business majors). Over a 12-week term, students will learn fundamental economic principles and their real-world applications, guided by a unique alphabetical approach. Each week, we will explore two letters, covering definitions, relevant data, and practical examples to illustrate each concept. From understanding basic economic terms to current economic issues, this introductory course aims to develop students' analytical thinking and broaden their understanding of how economic forces shape our world.
