Seminar
The first half of the seminar (September 3 -- 5) will take place at the Kansai Seminar House (in Kyoto) as a RIMS Camp-style seminar (closed style).

The second half of the seminar (September 6 -- 7) will take place at Lecture Room 110, Building No. 3 (Building of the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science) in the north campus of Kyoto University (open style). For a map of the north campus of Kyoto University, please visit

Getting to the Kansai Seminar House
(1) If you arrive at the Kansai International Airport, a convenient way is to take an MK shuttle bus. You can make reservation at this site. Destination: Kansai Seminar House (Address: Ichijoji Takenouchi cho 23, Sakyo-ku, 606-8134 Kyoto). The fare is 3,600 yen, and it takes about 2.5 hours (depending on other passengers) from the airport to the Kansai seminar house.
(2) If you arrive at JR Kyoto Station (if you arrive at another airport (such as Narita) and then move to JR Kyoto station), a convenient way is to take a taxi. It costs about 3000 yen and takes about 30 minutes (depending on taxi companies and the traffic) from JR Kyoto Station to the Kansai seminar house.

Accommodation
For the first half of the seminar (for the nights of September 3 and 4), all participants will stay at the Kansai Seminar House.
For the second half of the seminar (for the night from September 5), all paticipants who have asked us to book hotel rooms will stay at the Apical Inn Kyoto.
