Please always check for latest announcements on this website since some of the information may be out of date.
About this website:
arabicforquran was originally primarily created to facilitate one of Leicester (UK) Quran-Arabic classes organisation. This particular Quran-Arabic class (Now discontinued) was originally started up over 25 years ago by Sheikh Tijani Mustapha Gahbiche at the Islamic Foundation, Markfield, Leicestershire. May Allah, Subhanah, reward him good in both of the Worlds, Dunya and Akhira, for his relentless hard work in this regard.
The site does not presently contain extensive material for the actual learning although it is envisaged that, in the future, some assignments could be posted on the site for the benefit of those who can't make it to the class for an odd week.
Announcements:
This is more of a study-group rather than one person being a permanent teacher - we aim to learn from each other. [Latest update, July 2016: Classes have been discontinued ]
We have studied a few chapters of "Stories of the Prophets" قصص النبيين (by Sheikh Abul-Hasan Nadwi Rahimahu-Allah). For the future lessons, if you do have this book, please bring it with with you. For those who do not have this book, there may be some spare copies of this book available during the lesson.
For those who do have this book, please revise vocabulary in chapters 1 to 5 before coming to the class.

There is also some GCSE EdExcel Arabic syllabus material on this website.
An Ayah for contemplation:
وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ
Above every possessor of knowledge is one more knowing (and Allah, Subhnahu-wa Ta'ala, is the All Knowing)
Surah 12: Part Ayah 76
Remark: In plain English, one may stop to listen at times, but don't get stuck there (even if sounds impressive), rather, look higher - And Allah, Subhanah, knows better.
