PREDICTION CHALLENGE: CHASE SCENARIO

GIVEN: battery operated cart, fan cart, metersticks, stopwatch

SCENARIO: A thief robs a bank. The thief flees the scene at constant velocity. A policeman parked near the bank starts chasing the thief after 3 seconds.

TASK: Recreate the scene and determine:

a. Time and Position when the police catches the thief

b. Velocity of the police when it catches the thief.
