Welcome to Applied Electromagnetics (APPEM) Lab at CNU!
Our primary research focuses on efficient transmission and shielding of electromagnetic energy under electromagnetically harsh environments. Typical cases may include brain implanted devices, wireless networks under NLOS channels, and radiated field emission from motors in automotive vehicles. To this end, we carry out intensive research on antennas, near-field electromagnetic couplings, RF/microwave circuits and theoretical methods for electromagnetics. Opening
We have several openings for graduate students. If you are interested in working with us on the research topic of wireless power transfer/energy harvesting, antennas for military applications, high power microwave system, 3D printed antennas and electronics, or automotive electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems, please contact Prof. Ick-Jae Yoon (e-mail: ijyoon@cnu.ac.kr) with your academic CV.
