The Appalachian Regional Safety Council meetings on May 20th and June 17th at the Olde Dutch Restaurant, Logan, Ohio is cancelled.

 Effective immediately, in an abundance of caution surrounding COVID-19 and in light of the state of emergency declared by Governor DeWine yesterday, BWC advises its Ohio Safety Councils to suspend monthly meetings in May and June to minimize groups of people gathering as a measure to slow the spread of potential exposure.

The Safety Council has members from Hocking, Athens, Perry, Vinton and Jackson counties.  We meet every month at the Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan for safety related presentations.  Ohio BWC and Perry County EMA sponsor the council.  Employers have the potential to earn up to a 4% rebate on their BWC premium in addition to learning from the monthly educational programs.


The Appalachian Regional Safety Council Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in Logan, Ohio. The luncheons are held at the the Olde Dutch Restaurant Meeting Room and begin at 11:30am with a buffet-style luncheon for $10.00 per person. Presentations are from noon to 1pm.
