The Appalachian Bowhunters Association is a social group established in 1987 to provide opportunity for area bow hunters to meet and to share skills, information, and experiences. The group, based out of Clifton Virginia, usually meets the second Tuesday evening of each month; but, throughout the year also organizes 3D shoots, youth days and other activities in support of bow hunting.
The group helps support the Virginia Hunters for the Hungry program. Many of the group’s members not only hunt around the world; but, also help manage the local, burgeoning, deer population in Fairfax County through arrangements with private landowners. The group holds no land leases for hunting.
If you’re a bow hunter looking for camaraderie and you think you might like to become a member, feel free to contact the webmaster using the contact link, below.
