On November 16, 2019, the Power Struck Girls hosted their annual FLL tournament to the teams in their community.
On October 19, 2019, we participated in the STEM Fest at The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. This is an annual outreach event that the Power Struck Girls participate in every year. The team looks forward to meeting young children, and peaking their interest in the STEM Field.
On August 24, 2019, we participated in DOW's Red Stick Rumble at Denham Springs Highschool in Denham Springs. Louisiana. This is an off-season event, and we advanced to the quarter finals.
On August 2, 2019 we went to First Assembly of God Church in Metarie, Louisiana to do a Stem Day at their summer camp. While we were there, we did a demo of Portia, the kids drove our robot, and they built Bristle Bots.
On June 19, 2019, we did a STEM day the the Academy of Our Lady's Summer Camp. we worked with children from 3-12 years old, and they played science trivia, made oobleck, made a tornado in a bottle, made animal ears, and watch a demo our our robot, Portia.
On April 27, 2019, we hosted some Girl Scouts at our school in order for them to get their Robotics badges. Their ages ranged from 5-9 years old, and they participated in may different types of STEM and Robotics based activities
On April 6, 2019, we hosted an FLL qualifier in conjunction with the WWII Museum for their annual off season event. We hosted 18 local teams, and 16 of them qualified to go to the WWII Museum for the final matches.
On December 10, 2018, we had a soldering class. We would like to give a huge thank you to Richard Beline, Mike Decossas and Irwin Langhoff for teaching us the proper way to solder.
On December 3, 2018 nine Powerstruck Girls went to the Intralox facilities in Harahan and Hammond, Louisiana. We had a blast learning about how engineers work on a day to day basis. We would also like to thank Immaculata alumna De Desoto.

On October 27, 2018 the Powerstruck Girls attended the FRC Workshop Day we presented Concept Generation and we also participated in this event.
On October 20, 2018 We attended STEM Day that was held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
On October 18, 2018 The Powerstruck Girls visited St. Anthony to showcase their robot for the school's science night.
From October 5-6, 2018, We sold nachos at the nacho booth for Fall Fest, which was a community event for everyone around.
On September 21, 2018, We went to Immaculate Conception School to mentor their FLL team. We demonstrated gracious professionalism and core values. We also led them in multiple team building activities.
On June 24, 2018, the Powerstruck Girls hosted a STEM day at the Academy of Our Lady Summer Camp. Some of the many fun activities included water filtration, card towers, Oreo moon phases, and coding demonstrations.
On August 27, 2016, the Powerstruck girls went to Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge to perform in the Red Stick Rumble. Being the only FTC team there, the girls demonstrated their robot Jet's performance and gave the kids present the chance to drive the robot.
The Powerstruck Girls visited Immaculate Conception School in spring 2016 to inspire middle-schoolers to become involved in robotics and engineering.
In November 2015, Academy of Our Lady Robotics hosted the First Lego League tournament for kids in grades 4-8. The children are challenged to solve real world problems with LEGO MINDSTORMS.
