AOH National President Visits Manchester
National AOH President Dan O'Connell attended a meet and greet at The Wild Rover Pub on Saturday March 23. A dozen members were on hand to greet Dan and welcome him back to the Queen City. National as well as local issues were discussed among the group and was a good build up the the St Patrick's day parade that was held the next day.

Irish Heritage Month Proclamations
Division 1 received Proclamations of Irish Heritage Month from Governor Chris Sununu as well as Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais and Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess.
2024 "Pass the Sash" Mass & Shamrock Painting on Elm Street
On March 10th, members of Division 1 attended the Annual "Pass the Sash" Mass at St. Raphael Parish, where the Parade Grand Marshal sash is blessed and ceremonially 'passed' to this year's Parade Grand Marshal, Patrick O'Neil. Congratulations Pat!

Division 1 Members receive Major Degree
Division 1 congratulates brothers Ryan Curran and Tom Hayes on receiving their AOH Major Degrees at a ceremony held in Albany,NY on February 3rd. A few other Division 1 members made the trip to witness and support our brothers.

Division 1 2023 Hibernian of the Year
Rev. Wm. J. Shanahan Division 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire is pleased to announce that Brother Sean Markey has been named 2023 Hibernian of the Year! Sean is always stepping up to get the work of the Division done! Whether grabbing the reins to make sure we have volunteers for our road race efforts, to making sure our Adopt-A-Family gifts were distributed and even offering his house to hold a 'Summer Hooley' after our normal wintertime event fell through! Congratulations Sean! Well deserved!

On Saturday, March 4th, the Annual "Passing of the Sash" Mass took place at St. Raphael's Church, Manchester, NH, where the Grand Marshal Sash is passed from the previous Grand Marshal to this year's Grand Marshal! Congratulations to brother Dick Phelan, 2023 Grand Marshal!!

What is the Ancient Order of Hibernians?
Membership is open to active participants of the Catholic church; potential members must be of Irish descent to be considered for membership.
Division 1 - New Hampshire meets the first Wednesday of every month (except in July & August).
We meet at the Henry J. Sweeney American Legion Post, located at
251 Maple Street in Manchester, NH.
