About Me

Anton is an experienced chess instructor. He provides in-classroom lessons as well as private in-house sessions. One of his students is a 10 year old who has won several trophies in New York tournaments for juniors. Anton has been playing chess over 32 years. He was a winner of numerous tournaments and become candidate master at the age of 13. He continues to play tournaments on a very high competitive level. His rating is currently about 2100. Anton's lesson has usually four parts: endgame analysis, middlegame, openings and in the end students play game(s). Anton tries to make the last part as fun as possible and as competitive as possible.
