OVERVIEW

Consistently balancing the pursuit of career goals and the continual increase of knowledge, experience, and education has been the focus of the past 25 years. A dedication to honesty, integrity, and the surpassing of all expectations has paralleled that focus. Acting as a consummate professional while sustaining three basic principles: the ability to admit what is not known; the willingness to seek out that knowledge; and the drive to implement those findings into a plan for the future; has provided the design necessary to achieve the goals that have been set.

Marriott was handling all of the food production services for Binghamton University. I was involved in multiple different areas and programs. One of the first suggestions I made in the world of business was the "cross-training" program - which management utilized and embraced. The basic idea was that if entry level workers were able to train in different entry level areas, then workers could be shifted to handle bottlenecks and provide support if there was a shortage of labor or special circumstances. This was also effective at opening up a wider pool of talent when over time needs increased.
