This chronological list allows readers of the forthcoming ebook, Life and Times Today in Rural Japan, to find the moving pictures that correspond to the still photos on the book pages. Each link goes to a playback page that gives either "date recorded" or "date uploaded" (usually within a few days of the recording itself). Usually there is also a geo-tag to place the approximate location of the camera, and a set of keywords.
The ebook's hundreds of photos with commentaries led to a split into one volume in the town and one volume in the surrounding countryside, mountains, and seaside. But the video clips here are not segregated this way. The list is inclusive of all subjects and dates between fall 2016 and fall 2017.
As for pronunciation of Japanese names of places and people, all letters are sounded (none are silent). And the vowels are like Spanish or Italian, always pronounced in just one way (not long, short, schwa, and so on).
