Welcome to my website!
I am a tenured Research Scientist at the University of Luxembourg, in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences. I am also an IZA Research Fellow and a Research Affiliate at the Life Course Centre, GLO, and CEPREMAP - WellBeing Observatory.
I am an economist by training, with a strong interest in the broader social sciences. My research revolves around two central and complementary concepts: job insecurity and subjective well-being. My work on job insecurity is more closely rooted in economics and management, and examines how firms and individuals respond to economic uncertainty and employment risk. In contrast, my research on subjective well-being draws more directly on psychology and sociology, focusing on how individuals evaluate and report their well-being.
Across projects, I rely on survey data, administrative records, and experimental evidence, and apply causal inference methods to generate insights that are both academically grounded and policy-relevant.
I currently serve as Associate Editor of the Journal of Population Economics and as a member of the editorial boards of Review of Income and Wealth and Science et Bonheur. In 2026, I will join the editorial of the Journal of Wellbeing Economics. I am also a member of the World Wellbeing Panel and of the board of directors of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies.
