Annotated Bibliography Criteria
All sources should be fully and properly cited and then annotated in an Annotated Bibliography.
Annotated Bibliography-
MLA formatted:
Times New Roman
12 point font
Double space
1 inch margins
ALL CITATIONS IN MLA 9
Alphabetized (by first word in each citation)
An annotated bibliography is a list of sources with a description and/or analysis of each source
Annotated bibliographies can be very detailed (multiple paragraphs for each source) or more general (brief description and/or analysis of the article)
Common structure of an annotated bibliography:
TWO PARAGRAPHS for each annotation:
Paragraph 1:SUMMARY of the article (discussion of why source is credible)
Paragraph 2: Your ASSESSMENT of how the article is relevant to your assignment (what is the key takeaway from the source)
