Nemo Cake

I made this clown fish "Nemo" cake for my son Jon for his 3rd birthday. 

I purchased this Wilton Tropical fish cake pan and followed the instructions. Unfortunately, this pan is no longer available. Maybe you can find one on Ebay. I decorated the cake using buttercream frosting colored with Wilton Icing Colors

. I used Wilton decorating tips (primarily star tip #16) and Wilton icing bags. Remember, icing darkens over time. So, stop adding icing coloring when it is a little lighter than you want. This cake looked dark orange at first but darkened to almost red by the time the party started. I stored the cake in the refrigerator in a large white bakery box.
