The course comprises of six theory and six practical sessions
By taking part in the theory element of the course you will offset your lack of experience, to a certain degree, by learning what mistakes you're most likely to make when you first pass your driving test. Once aware of these most common mistakes you should be a lot less likely to make them!
The theory sessions are held on a Thursday evening at Yate Library.
On the practical sessions you will be taught all the basic car control skills by the fully-qualified instructor, in the safety of a private road network in a dual controlled car.
These lessons will quickly build up your confidence so that you'll be well prepared to tackle your first lesson on the public roads once you reach seventeen.
The practical sessions are held on a sat or sun morning. There are three pupils to one Instructor, pupils find they learn as much when sitting in the back while someone else takes the hot seat!
You don't need a provisional licence.
