Doulas and Dads

Doula does not replace a partner.

There is often a time with the partner needs a sup-port system as well.

Doulas may assist the partner in understanding what is happening during the labor process.

A doula can guide the partner to be involved in whatever level the partner is comfortable with.

The birth is an experience both the mother and the partner will remember for the rest of their lives.
