Anna Lo Prete is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Torino, Associate Researcher at G53 Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Network and at Manheim Institute for Financial Education (MIFE), Affiliate of the Interuniversity Research Center on Local and Regional Finance (CIFREL). She serves on the Executive Board of the European Public Choice Society (EPCS) and is founder and Co-Director of the IEEF (Initiative for Education in Economics & Finance).
Her research examines how individuals economic knowledge shapes personal and collective financial decisions, policy preferences, and participation in democratic institutions.
