Andhra Uppada's

Uppada Silk is named after a small beach town of Uppada in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Known for the unique designs in them, Uppada sarees are usually made using only non-mechanical techniques, Uppada Silk sarees are defined by the length and breadth count of threads.

The length count of threads is 100 and the breadth count is 100 in the weaving process of Uppada Silk sarees.

Uppada Jamdani Sari is a silk sari style woven in Uppada of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.Jamdani style of weaving is originated in Bangladesh. In 18th Century, It was brought to south and in Uppada village of East Godavari district of AP, India. Jamdani style of weaving recreated with a local resonance.

Different designs include geometric, flowers, leaves, etc. Speciality of Jamdani saree is that it gets design on both the sides
