Vashisth Research Lab
Composite Materials &
Manufacturing Lab
Prof. Aniruddh Vashisth
Mechanical Engineering Department
University of Washington, Seattle
What we do:
We do inter-disciplinary research on the interface of mechanics and material science. Broadly our research involves the following:
Fabrication, material characterization, and analysis of sustainable composites
Molecular dynamics simulations of polymers and nanofillers augmented by machine learning
Advanced manufacturing of materials using high energetics such as radio frequency and plasma
