The ImageJ digital darkfield routines in this google-sites "File-Cabinet" supplement (in draft form) our 2007 distribution of ImageJ files. What other resources might be worthwhile providing links to here?

xyColorFromXY_.java - This java plugin, replacing the same-name plugin from our 2007 distribution, breaks an XY gradient stack into a pair of rotated isotropic & shear component maps.

Some homegrown virtual microscopes - links to a variety of java simulators, zoomify image explorations, etc.

RI1fromRGB_.java - This is modified version of RISfromRGB_.java, used only by our roundabout "hue maximization" macro.

On-line focus & astigmatism simulator - our now ancient page for real-time practice at correcting focus or astigmatism in the TEM.

MaximizeHues_.txt - This uses the plugins above to maximize hues in an image, with much more computation than should be needed in future versions.

LogComponentColorFromXY_.java - This ImageJ plugin interprets the first two images in a stack as XY-vector components rotated by a reference azimuth, and converts to a single log component-color image.

lattice fringe practicals - page with links to a number of on-line calculators and reference pages.

electron image calculator - infer distances & scale bars from images & their power spectra

DigitalDarkfieldTableau_.txt - This macro tiles frequency space with tiny darkfield (and one brightfield) image, allowing one to search the full range of periodicities for footprints of possible interest.

DigitalDarkfieldStrain_.txt - This macro in addition provides complex color darkfield, phase, and phase-gradient maps for the frequency aperture that you select.

DigitalDarkfieldAmplitude_.txt - This macro is for fast mapping of a periodicity-range selected by you from an image power-spectrum.

diffraction pattern calculator - convert measured g-values into d-spacings via d = λL/g.

abc_etc - This spreadsheet plays with crystallographic relations that may help explore candidate structures.
