• Received a Grant of Rs 3, 50,000.00 released for project work titled “Sentiment Lexicon for effective mining of users opinion on products” by All India Council for Technical Education,Government of India, for the year 2009-2011.

• Received a Grant of Rs 2, 00, 00.00 from Visvesvaraya Technological University – Vision Group on Science & Technology (VTU-VGST), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, for conducting a workshop entitled “Research Opportunities and Challenges in Mining Web Contents”. The work shop was successfully held from 12th -16th March 2012.

• Received a Grant of Rupees 2,50,000.00 from IBM, India for the Project Proposal entitled “Smarter Planet-Sentiment analysis from Regional Web documents” August 2013.

• Received a Grant of Rupees 8, 16, 00,000.00 from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), India for course on Tools and Techniques in Big Data Computing For Diverse Applications under GIAN, November 2016.

• Received a Grant of Rupees 8, 16, 000.00 from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), India for a proposal on “Advanced Course on Biomedical Signal Processing Course” under Global Initiative for Academic Networks (GIAN), 2017.
