THELMA ALICE WATCHORN was born in Tocumwal, New South Wales in 1901 (17327). She married 1/ WILLIAM ROBERT MEDWAY- SMITH in 1921 in Drummoyne, New South Wales. William was te son of Robert Augustus Medway-Smith and Mary Kate Botth.They were divorced in 1931 and Thelma later married 2/ HENRY AMBROSE AVES BELLAIRS in Five Docks, New South Wales in 1937 (3725). Henry was the son of Seaforth Mackenzie Bellairs and Miriam ?. Henry is listed in the London Gazette Newspaper dated the 28th of February 1916 as being a supplementary part of the regular corps of the Royal Field Artillary but strangely his name does not appear in the Australian military records as ever being enlisted and his death notice list his as Major Henry Ambrose Aves (Peter) Bellairs M.C. R.F.A (Military Cross- Royal Field Artillary). so it is quite obvious that he not only enlisted but achieved a high position within the military. He died at Randwick, New South Wales in 1950 (3294).

In 1954 Thelma married 3/ David Samuel Herbert Edgerton in Young, New South Wales (11277). David was born in Rye Park, New South Wales on the 20th of August 1900, son of David & ? Edgerton. He served in the military during the Second World War, enlisting at Quamby, New South Wales on the 24th of August 1940 (NX60698) and served as a Private with the 9th R.R. Battalion until the 23rd of October 1940.

Thelma died at Hammondville, New South Wales on the 4th of March 1985, aged 83.
