Angus C. Chu 朱智豪

Welcome to my homepage. I have joined the University of Macau as Distinguished Professor and Head of Department of Economics. Before that, I was Chair in Macroeconomics at the University of Liverpool. From 2016 to 2019, I served as Professor of Economics at Fudan University and a distinguished expert in the Shanghai Thousand Talents Program. I earned my postgraduate degrees in economics from the University of British Columbia and the University of Michigan. My research areas include macroeconomic theory, economic growth, innovation, intellectual property rights, monetary economics, and population economics. My research findings have been published in journals, such as Economic Inquiry, Economic Theory, European Economic Review, International Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics & Control, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Population Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, Review of Economic Dynamics, and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
