Hello! Welcome to my homepage. I currently serve as Professor of Economics at the University of Liverpool. Before coming to Liverpool, I served as an academic staff at Durham University, and I earned my postgraduate degrees from the University of British Columbia and the University of Michigan. My current research focuses on macroeconomic theory, monetary economics, economic growth, innovation and intellectual property rights. The results of my research have been published in journals, such as European Economic Review, International Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Macroeconomic Dynamics, and Review of Economic Dynamics.
