Welcome to my homepage. I have joined the University of Liverpool as Chair in Macroeconomics. Before that, I served as Professor of Economics at Fudan University and a distinguished expert in the Shanghai Thousand Talents Program. I earned my postgraduate degrees in economics from the University of British Columbia and the University of Michigan. My research areas include macroeconomic theory, economic growth, innovation, intellectual property rights, and monetary economics. My research findings have been published in journals, such as the European Economic Review, International Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and the Review of Economic Dynamics.
