2022 ACS Alumni Meeting Minutes and Event Summary

• Names of alumni, faculty, staff and friends we lost in the past year were read aloud and were recognized with a moment of silence.

• Individual attendance honors:

  • Oldest graduate in attendance - Richard Sortore ‘52

  • Youngest graduate in attendance - Liz Starck Gugino ‘92

  • Graduate who traveled the farthest - Tamarra Barton ‘71 (Hudson, Fl)

• Class attendance honors for best attendance:

  • Class of 1992 - 25%

  • Class of 1972 - 18%

  • Class of 1962 - 14%

• General attendance this year: 45 alumni (57 total) attendees

  • Historic attendance figures demonstrate a recent and significant decline in attendance

• Old Business - none

• New Business:

  • Current slate of officers will continue to serve, no volunteers from the floor.

  • Next year’s date: Saturday, August 5, 2023 – (Heritage Days)

  • Next year’s venue/style - there was a discussion about changing location or type of event (to combat dwindling attendance). The e-board would welcome any feedback from our alumni - please complete this short survey by October 1st: https://bit.ly/ACSeventsurvey

• 50/50 raffle winner was Kathy Sortore ‘86, she donated back a portion of her winnings.

• Meeting adjourned by singing the Alma Mater - official class photos taken after the meeting.
