We focus on understanding the fundamental physical and chemical properties of materials at nanoscale, such as atomic clusters, nanoparticles and low dimensional systems. A broad range of questions on chemical reactivity, electronic structure, magnetic properties and stability of nano systems of our particular interest. The research topics include:
