Jefferson Physical Laboratory is located at 17 Oxford Street, Cambridge, MA.

From Logan Airport by taxi: The ride to Harvard Square takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Typically, the ride from Logan Airport to Harvard Square costs about $35.

From Logan Airport to Harvard Square by car: Follow the signs for I-93 and Boston. You will go through a set of toll booths ($3 for cars) before the Sumner Tunnel. Stay to the right through Sumner Tunnel. At the end of the tunnel bear to the right and follow the signs for Storrow Drive. Continue along the river on Storrow Drive West for approximately 4 miles. Pass the “Massachusetts Avenue - Cambridge” exit and then the Doubletree Guest Quarters Hotel. Directly after the Doubletree, take the right-hand exit marked “Harvard Square - Cambridge”. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto John F. Kennedy Street. Harvard Square is approximately 1/2 mile straight ahead.

To Jefferson Physical Laboratory by car: From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike): Get off at Cambridge (exit 18). Turn left immediately onto Soldiers Field Road (west). Take Harvard Square exit, bear right across Anderson Bridge, and drive straight onto Harvard Square. You’ll pass Out of Town News on your right, then merge with Massachusetts Avenue. Keep Harvard Yard on your right. Stay to right at the fork and go onto the underpass. Once you emerge from the tunnel, turn left onto Quincy Street and, after one block, left again onto Kirkland Street. Kirkland ends at the Science Center; turn right onto Oxford Street. Physics buildings Jefferson and Lyman are behind the DEAS McKay Laboratory on your left. Vehicle access is available further along on the left, but the only available public parking is on Oxford Street. Elevator access to Jefferson is through Lyman.

Walking to Jefferson Physical Laboratory from Red Line Harvard “T” Station: Upon exiting the “T” station, walk into Harvard Yard to the statue of John Harvard; from here take path to your left, exit the yard and veer left, around the Science Center (modern white building). The large red-brick building in front of you is Jefferson Physical Laboratory. Elevator access to Jefferson is through Lyman.
