DADDY’s work is partially premised on using an object within its environment

to participate in research and collect information that can be used by

said object’s designer for the purpose of creating a better art/design object.

MARKET RESEARCH is premised on using participants within the community

to communicate “their” values about the object to the designer and other

communities participating with the object. MARKET RESEARCH is an ongoing piece.

The serial nature of the piece encourages a narrative to develop within

the art-consuming community (both locally and via the internet), and

accommodates changing political climate and value systems.
