The Blue Fairy Book (1889)

Published by Longmans & Co, London, illustrated by H J Ford and G. P. Jacomb Hood, 8 plates and many text black & white illustrations. Stories include, Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Jack the Giant-killer, Puss in Boots and Cinderella. There was also a large format issued in a limited edition of 113 copies.

The Red Fairy Book (1890)

Longmans & Co, London, 1890. Illustrated in black & white by H.J. Ford and Lancelot Speed. Tales include: The Twelve Dancing Princesses; Jack and the Beanstalk; Rapunzel and Snowdrop. There was also a large paper limited edition.

The Green Fairy Book (1892)

Longmans, Green, and Co., 1892 Illustrated with 13 in black & white plates plus text illustrations by H.J. Ford. In the introduction to this book, Lang says "This is the third, and probably the last, of the Fairy Books of many colours". The tales include "The Three Little Pigs," "The Enchanted Ring," "The Magic Swan," "The Story of the Three Bears," "The Twelve Huntsmen," "The Golden Mermaid" and "The Three Musicians." There was also a large paper limited edition of one-hundred and fifty copies.

There was also a Limited Edition of 140 printed on handmade paper by Spottiswoode & Co., London.
