I was also co-editor of Nova Scotia: New Scottish Speculative Fiction, which was nominated for a World Fantasy Award. The anthology was described as "excellent ... consistently ambitous" by The Scotsman, and The Herald wrote that it "seethes with ideas and wonderful writing". Further afield, the Independent on Sunday said that Nova Scotia features "a truly weird and frequently wonderful line-up", and in the US, Locus reported that it is "exhilarating intellectual entertainment".
