ABOUT ME

I am currently a Mellon postdoctoral teaching fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania.

I work primarily in ethics, metaethics, moral psychology, and philosophy of action. But I also have interests in questions about rule-following, self-knowledge, and evolutionary considerations bearing on morality and moral psychology.

I completed my Ph.D. in Philosophy, with a minor in History and Philosophy of Science, at Indiana University Bloomington in August 2012. Prior to joining Penn, I was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL.
