Career History

Retired since 2016 , I am still active in support of the Christian heritage of Northumbria - the fantastically historic and beautiful North East of England.

I have enjoyed a very satisfying and varied career over 40 years in tourism and heritage planning, marketing, product development, business support, e-business innovation and operational delivery. My strengths have been in project vision and strategy development, business planning and online communications.

Assignments have included corporate plans, e-business and online strategies, heritage project planning, funding proposals and bids, partnership formation, job design and recruitment support, website planning and exhibition design.

I have previously worked for the Church of England Diocese of Newcastle, VisitBritain, the European Travel Commission, the Churches Conservation Trust, Northumbria Tourist Board and other roles in planning, tourism and heritage marketing.
