I am a researcher in public economics, political economy, comparative politics, and the economics of education and social mobility. My work broadly focuses on causal inference and quantitative analysis in the social sciences.
I hold a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (2016). I held a postdoctoral fellowship at CORE (UCLouvain), and was a Visiting Research Scholar at Princeton University's Bobst Center and Politics Department.
I am a Research Fellow at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB), where I co-direct the Political Economy Program, and at the Institutions and Political Economy Research Center (IPERC). I am currently a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Ivàlua, on leave from a Associate Professor position the University of Barcelona.
