Welcome to my webpage!

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Barcelona, where I co-direct the Political Economy Program at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB). I am also a Research Fellow at the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group (IPERG) and at IZA.

I received my PhD from the European University Institute and was previously a Visiting Research Scholar at Princeton's Bobst Center and Politics Department, and before that a postdoctoral fellow at CORE (UCLouvain).

My research spans public economics, political economy and comparative politics, and the economics of education and social mobility. I also contribute to metascience research on the credibility and replicability of empirical work. My work draws on quasi-experimental designs and survey and conjoint experiments.
