In the last 12 years, I have focused on Tourism Economics issues. Tourism from an economic perspective has diverse research topics I have passionately studied, including tourists' choice and demand (both international and domestic), innovation in the hotel industry, and the contribution of tourism to poverty reduction. Through further research, I aim to support tourism stakeholders at a global level in their decision-making process to contribute the most to our society.
I am an Associate Researcher for Colombia's Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (Minciencias), 2025.
In the following subpages, you will find the research products I have published on tourism economics and other fascinating topics in the economic arena, including education economics, sustainability, inequality, competitiveness, and economic growth.
