I am an economist at BI Norwegian Business School. My research studies interactions between labor markets, the social safety net, and income and consumption inequality. I teach microeconomics to economics majors. I am an associate editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association, a principal investigator on grants from the Norwegian Research Council, and a research associate or fellow at CEPR, IZA, and the Rockwool Foundation in Berlin.
