I am professor in the Department of Physics at Sorbonne Université.

I am a member of the Laboratoire d'Étude du Rayonnement et de la Matière en Astrophysique (LERMA), which is a laboratory of the Observatoire de Paris, Sorbonne Université, and CNRS.

I am interested in both laboratory and astrophysical plasmas, in particular the dense plasmas produced on laser and pulsed-power installations to study astrophysical phenomena connected to star formation and their environment.

Modellings these laboratory and astrophysical systems requires extensive computations, and I am actively involved in code development on massively parallel architectures.

I am currently maintaining the website for the French community working on extreme laboratory astrophysics.
