Task

Each member of the teams working individually will use the ESPRAT+G categories of study to prepare a written research report and multimedia presentation with narration on both the ancient Greek and Roman societies. Your team presentation to Ms. Drakos and her planning team will be based on the research report. Both individual products will give a rich historical description of life in both civilizations.

The teams then work together using their individual research to prepare a model proposal for Ms. Drakos that describes what they think a present day city state modeled on ancient Greece and Rome should look like and where it should be in present day Libya. In other words, what would doing business, following daily customs/life, running the government, practicing religion, experiencing the arts and using technology look like in Drakanos?

This proposal involves the combination of the historical “best of” ESPRAT +G aspects of Greece and Rome with a 21st century society and the geography of Libya. Your team will decide how to present their proposal (e.g., written report, Keynote, slideshow, etc.) depicting all aspects of the ESPRAT+G categories modeling life in Drakanos.
