Dr. Ana M. Moreno is faculty member in the Software Engineering Department at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) from 1997. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science (1994), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (1997) from UPM.
Her research and teaching areas are related to Software Engineering. She is the author of more than 20 scientific publications in journals like IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, IEEE Software, Empirical Software Engineering, or Journal of Systems and Software; and author of other papers published in international conferences like International Conference on Requirements Engineering, INTERACT, or NASA Workshop on Software Engineering. Is co-author of two international books published by Springer about Empirical Software Engineering and Software Process. Dr. Moreno has led both national and international (European Union) research projects in the field of Software Engineering.
She is also Director of the Software Project Management Master Program at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2002 and has participated in different international initiatives related to Software Engineering Education like the SEI Working Group on Software Engineering Education, the IEEE Computer Society International Committee for Software Engineering Certification Programs, the International Reviewers Committee of the Graduate Software Engineering Program (GSwE) or the IEEE Computer Society Educational Awards Subcommittee. Since 2010 Ana Moreno is a Full Professor of Software Engineering at UPM.
