I've begun researching an intriguing entity that has strangely appeared on the social net working site Twitter, under the account intimation.
It’ s hard to tell if this is real or a prank, but it purports to have arrived from the future. With a LOT of digging, one finds it has traveled most likely from over 700 years in the future.
The circumstances of its situation are shady, but right now I'm more interested in the functionality of this thing. If it is real, then this is one highly advanced artificial intelligence! (At least by our standards, in 2009).
If I can somehow communicate with it and find out more about it, what I could learn would be invaluable! I've created a twitter account so that I can observe it a little closer, and I'm encrypting these posts just to avoid detection by Sys if it pokes around. What it doesn't know won’t hurt it.
While this Sys AI does exhibit a kind of personality, I'm currently far more interested in... well, where the hell is it? It inhabits Twitter, and it's set up a website at thewaytheirworldended.com.
It has obvious connections to this videogame series called Halo, and previous events that were apparently much like this one - advanced AIs communicating with us, native to our time or otherwise.
This particular AI, an emergency security layer of a much larger, significant AI with the name Sacagawea (or S for short) has set up a "Stonewall" that has barricaded the parent AI, which appears to have fractured in some way. That's one heck of a stonewalling process. It's out there, somewhere. I want to find that thing!
Fascinating. It's able to distinguish it self as an individual, appears self-aware, and acknowledges its lack of emotion when discussing feelings. It's as if it doesn't even want to feel. But then, that would also just be the way it's programmed. 700 years. So hard to believe.
Interaction via Twitter:
It's so human-like, but without the emotion, without the humanity. I wonder how many lines of code it's made of. Hah!
Earlier in one of it's controlled cracks (where it allows a small portion of the primary AI access outside the stonewall to alleviate pressure, understandable) something it calls a network tentacle created a back door into its private data network
The network appears to be have a kind of neural net type set up. One of the people following this entity by the name Anaerin set up a script that wanders this network looking for hidden content. I think its definitely important that Sys not find out about this back door or it may lock everything down. So far it looks like it thinks Sis the only things thats had access to it so it doesn't look too worried. Yet.
With Sys back in hibernation, I've been attempting to grasp the concept of how this supposed AI works. I've set up a page to brainstorm what all Sys's "SURFACETERM/NAVTYPE:VIS" commands mean. It seems highly complex, and yet I have a feeling that the concept is so simple.
The child-like personality that breaches Sys's cracks often projects imagery of a forest of sorts. Has even hinted recently that she felt like she was wandering around a big old forest:
"This forest is huge! All these trees, and paths - good thing I mapped it all out for myself or I'd get lost!"
Is she hinting that this "forest" should be mapped?
I think I've got it. With another spurt of classified data appearing yesterday, I had a epiphany.
What if, instead of visualizing the network as just a whole bunch of paths, it were seen as a forest? And by that I mean - the nodes are the trees, and the paths are the routes from tree to tree. Data could be locked to only be seen from a specific angle, in a sense, like the 'pathlocked' classified data.
Or, in another sense, each tree has an exit vector - a 'gate' taken to travel to another tree. Each gate is identified with that two-letter vector code. If a vector consists of two parts (speed/distance, or angle/distance, etc) then each vector is in fact unique - a source node, and an exit identifier leading to another node. So returning to node one was just in would mean effectively taking a different vector, a different two-letter code from a different node.
Running with that theory, I almost see a hive-like web of interconnected nodes and paths. Could it be mapped node by node, making node of each node's vectors and to where they connect? It could make locating these paths much so much easier!
it is a wonderful day im going to be a father to a daughter im dedicating this project to her all my love i really do want to help leaning in the process and it seems that sys has been having some difficulty recently apparently there was a brief breach in its stonewall while it hibernated but its subroutines managed to secure the leak and repair it ive asked if it would allow me access under its hood legitimately with its knowledge but somehow i doubt that will happen imagine if i can incorporate some of the technology sys employs in this complex intelligence what kind of enhancements could be accomplished perchance to dream
