Definition of Grades

A -- Achievement is Consistently Outstanding--The student demonstrates exceptional understanding and has mastered content/techniques/skills and concepts taught. The student has mastered 90-100% of the course objectives (standards for language arts and history) introduced.

B -- Achievement is Consistently Above Average -- The student has demonstrated a clear understanding and has mastered the content/technique/skills and concepts taught. The student has mastered 80-89% of the course objectives ( standards for language arts and history) introduced.

C -- Achievement is Satisfactory -- The student has demonstrated a basic understanding of the content/techniques/skills and concepts taught. The student has mastered 70-79% of the course objectives (standards for language arts and history) introduced.

D -- Achievement is Minimal -- The student's work is frequently incomplete or inaccurate. The student has demonstrated little understanding of the content/technique/skills and concepts taught. The student has mastered only 60-69% of the course objectives (standards for language arts and history) introduced.

F -- The student's work is incomplete or inaccurate. The student demonstrates a lack of progress or understanding of course skills, concepts, techniques, and concepts taught. The student has mastered less than 60% of the course objectives (standards for language arts and history) introduced.
