I am an Assistant Professor & Program Coordinator for Robotics in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, at West Virginia University, USA.
I am the founder of the Intelligent Cyber-physical Systems Research Lab (iCPS Lab). My research group interests span machine learning, computer vision and sensor fusion to the applications of Intelligent, Safe and Secure Cyber-physical & Autonomous Systems and Robotics. Also, I am a member of the West Virginia University Robotics Team.
Previously, I was a Mitacs Accelerate Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen's University, Canada and a Research Associate at Calian Ltd. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen's University.

02/25 iCPS Lab students Mohamed (PhD student EE) and Rashaan (Undergrad student CpE) visited WVU Jakcson's Mill H-4 Code camp. Both had a successful demo for the F1Tenth, 1/10 autonomous race car, and engaged in discussions with mid and high school student campers.
