Projects
EcoPRT - Two Person Autonomous Personal Transit System (C++,OpenCV) Aug 2016 - Present
Designed and developed a low cost LIDAR unit using off the shelf components. Analyzed data from LIDAR, Camera, and RTLS, and utilized for obstacle detection and path planning. Implemented and tuned MPC controller for the smooth actuation of the vehicle.
Self-Driving Car Engineer Projects (Python, OpenCV, Tensorflow, Keras) Nov 2016 - Oct 2017
As a part of the Udacity Nanodegree program, worked on Lane finding, Traffic Sign Detection, Vehicle Detection, Behavioral Cloning, EKF, UKF, Particle Filter, PID Tuning, MPC, Path Planning and Semantic Segmentation.
Mini Electric Autonomous Vehicle (C++, OpenCV, WinAVR) August 2011 - May 2012
Modified a mini electric car to function as an autonomous vehicle by equipping it with Kinect, GPS, IMU, heading Sensor, and Encoders. The project was recognized as the best product oriented project of the year by the university.
Unmanned Ground Vehicle (C++, OpenCV, WinAVR) May 2010 - Feb 2011
Developed an unmanned ground vehicle from scratch. Used OpenCV for path detection and LIDAR for obstacle detection. The project was funded by Defense Research and Development Organization, India.
