Backfill: The registered version can download thousands of bars/time interval backfill data, many symbols have full history from daily interval up. (Demo version displays only the 100 recent bars. This is the only limitation in the demo version.)
Amibroker stores the downloaded data automatically. The full version has no limitations on bar count; the data will be gathered during usage and you will have thousands of bars in a short time (depending on the time interval!)

Amibroker's Scanner/Explorer/Back test commands ignores the "Wait for backfill" option. Why?
TradingView.com Investing.com only provides delayed data for certain markets. Please always check the delay on their website for the markets you are interested in before purchasing the plugin!
The length of the history depends on the symbol and it's time interval. The registered version of the plugin downloads the whole history is available on the servers of the data provider.
1. To make sure you get data of the right market use the MARKET:TICKER format while adding a new symbol to your database! (E.g: enter BITTREX:BTCUSD instead of BTCUSD, or XETR:CBK instead of CBK) OR
2. Create an association with the symbol info editor (E.g: associate BTCUSD with BITTREX:BTCUSD)
Amibroker's time compression is slightly incompatible with TradingView-s charts. Please read the details in the Time compression section below.
Please check these limitations on TradingView.com's charts before purchasing the plugin!
Without registration, the plugin operates in demo mode.
The demo version displays only a limited amount of data in Amibroker.
You can also upgrade your existing plugin by downloading the latest version here.
Please select the appropriate version for your Amibroker. Ensure that you download the 64-bit version if you have the x64 version of Amibroker!

Simply unzip the contents of the downloaded AmiDataTradingView.zip file into the Plugins subfolder of the installed Amibroker (Mostly it is C:\Program Files\Amibroker\Plugins)
Run Amibroker
Create new database: File menu -> New -> Database
Enter/browse the path to the newly created database
Press the Create button
Select data source: TradingView.com Amibroker Data Plugin
Local data storage: Enable
Enter the number of bars
Set base time interval
Press Ok
In some cases there can be timing issues if you do not set precisely the Extended Time Shift in the plugin's configuration dialog (Not the Time Shift in the database settings dialog!). This can happen when chart data is imported from some "special" markets.
Markets in the East
E.g: the Australian stock market opens on a day but closes on the next day projected to GMT time zone (The data always comes with GMT timestamp from TradingView!). In this case the first and last data bars coming from the same trading session will fall on another day. Without setting the Extended Time Shift to +10:00 Amibroker compresses these bars to different days.
0-24 markets with session time different than 0:00 - 24:00
The same problem appears when the session time is, for example, 07:00 - 07:00. If you don't set the Extended Time Shift to +7:00 Amibroker will compress the intraday bars to EOD bars starting from 0:00. It is wrong, because TradingView's EOD bars are calculated from session 07:00-07:00; you will see difference between the AmiBroker and TradingView.com chart.
Consequences
For the above markets
you have to set the Extended Time Shift if you want accurate EOD bars calculated from intraday bars and/or want to use the Mixed Intraday/EOD database option of Amibroker
you have to set up separate databases; you can not have accurately timed bars in one database with data coming from markets which has to be configured with different Extended Time Shift.
The price of this plugin is 30 Euro/computer/year (30 EUR ~ 34.5 USD).
Bulk chart update license is still a one time fee!
Do not forget to indicate the serial number - displayed by the demo plugin - during the payment!
