Message from the Commander

Welcome to the American Legion Post 3 website. There's lots of information concerning who and what we Legionnaires are all a bout, including details of the Legion, its Auxiliary, Legion Riders, and Sons & Daughters of the American Legion. The most significant fact any one should gather from this information is that we Legionnaires are your comrades, friends, relatives, neighbors, and veterans representing all areas of our nation's socioeconomic

structure. We know what it is to live by our wits, as well as by resources at our disposal. Some of us were officers among our U.S. Armed Forces. Some of us were non-commissioned officers. But all of us helped keep America strong, free, and a great place to raise a family. We focus on issues related to vets, sure, but then there's our programs on Children and Youth, National Security, and Americanism. We are the Legion, but we're here to make a difference within the community we live and work in. You, too, can become a Legionnaire. Join us. God Bless America!
