Thesis Supervision

In case you are interested in writing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. under my supervision, please read the following before sending your request via email.

There are a limited number of slots for supervision. I supervise theses in applied microeconomics, with a focus on empirical work in labor economics, public economics and organizational economics.  

Students should propose a topic, or at least a first idea for a topic, which we can then narrow down together. When contacting me, please include 

• the proposed topic and research question 

• an extended paragraph that describes the topic, ideally, the proposed data/research design (for M.Sc. thesis) 

• the approximate date that you want to register your thesis

Please be as specific as possible.

In addition, include your transcript, a CV, and a list of advanced courses in applied microeconomics and econometrics that you have taken.

In case I have free supervision capacity, we will schedule a meeting to find a suitably refined topic for the thesis and discuss supervision details.
