Historical Number of Amateur Radio Licenses
1997 to Present
The following table presents the historical number of amateur radio licenses from June, 1997 to the present. The numbers from June 1997 through December 2018 were published by Joe Speroni at this link. After seeing that the Speroni series stopped having updates after January, 2019, I prepared the following historical table and will add to this series in the future.
Historical Amateur Radio Licenses
My numbers in this table select only active licenses that have expiration dates after the date of the query. For the December, 2023 number, the selection includes only those licenses with expiration dates after December 31, 2023.
