I am a PhD student at the Institut für deutsche Sprache und Literatur I at the Universität zu Köln.

I work on the XPrag.de Project YesNo: Affirmative and rejective responses to assertions and polar questions. For more information on the project, please visit the project website.

My doctoral supervisors are Sophie Repp, Manfred Krifka and Stefan Hinterwimmer. For my dissertation, I work on the semantics and pragmatics of embedded polar responses, i.e. responses in English like I think so or I think not as well as their counterparts in Dutch and German.
