The annual meeting of Alvarado Condominium Association will be held on the first Monday in November, as outlined in the Association By-Laws. An agenda for the meeting will be forthcoming, and posted in the Common Area as required. For those that cannot attend, proxy forms will be made available with the Association Secretary, Ruth Leonard, and should be returned to her when properly completed. Members are welcome to submit items that need to be considered, and discussed. The annual meeting also provides time for review of current and future budget requirements, as well as election of the Board of Directors membership for the upcoming year. Hope to see you all there!
FIRST NOTICE OF 2019 ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF DIRECTORS
Date: Thursday, September 5th, 2019
To: All Alvarado Condominium Association Members
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Chapter 718.112, Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code Rule 61B Elections, that at least 60 days prior to elections of Directors, First Notice will be mailed or delivered to all voting members. The election for the Board of Directors will occur at the annual owners’ meeting, scheduled as outlined below:
TIME and DATE - 7:00 p.m. - Monday, November 4th, 2019
LOCATION - Unit of Paul and Barbara Major, 10597 Alvarado Court
The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board of seven (7) directors who will serve a one-year term, per Section 3.3 of the Alvarado Condominium Association By-Laws.
If you wish to be a candidate for the 2019/2020 Board of Directors, you must complete a written “Notice of Intent to Run” for the Alvarado Condominium Association Board. A copy of this form is available at our web site: https://sites.google.com/site/alvaradocondos/ , or from the Association Secretary, Ruth Leonardo, at 10596 Alvarado Court, Seminole, FL 33772, and should be returned via U.S. mail or hand delivered when properly completed. The signed form must be received by the Secretary on or before Wednesday, September 25th, 2019.
Candidates may send a single page information sheet (no larger than 8.5” X 11”) about themselves to the Association for inclusion on the ballot; this information sheet must be received by the Association on or before Monday, September 30th, 2019.
An election and balloting are not required unless more candidates file Notice of Intent to Run than vacancies exist on the Board. Voting will be written ballot only.
